Fast Pitch Softball Pitching Instruction

Pitching lessons are offered at the Hollis Park Recreation Center for girls from the ages of eight to eighteen. You will learn the proper techniques of pitching. You will also learn to throw the following different pitches: fastball, change, knuckleball, curve (up and down), rise, drop, and screwball.

The instructor was the Head Coach of Bradley University for ten years, Head Coach at Lincoln Junior College for 2 years, and Assistant at Illinois Central College for 7 years. He coached travel ball teams for 20 years. He also has coached grade school and high school programs in the Peoria area. For more information, please call 674-8672.

Pitching / Batting Instruction

The Hollis Park Recreation Center Pitching / Batting Room in available for public use. Participants using the room for batting must use balls provided by the recreation center.

Use fees per ½ hour:
